Jane Farrant CA

Jane commenced chartered accountancy in 1980 with Touche Ross in Wanganui while completing

her professional papers.

After travelling overseas, Jane moved to Auckland to become the group accountant for a large clothing company. She returned to public practice in 1992, working for a mid tier firm before joining the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young.

Jane was admitted to the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1993.

In 1999 she joined Hubbard & Associates as a senior manager and in 2011 Jane and Ian formed Farrant Hubbard Partners. The partnership continued until Ian’s retirement in December 2021.

Jane’s client base ranges from small to medium businesses in a variety of sectors. She enjoys a close working relationship with her clients. 

Jane still however has time to enjoy the great outdoors, cycling, gardening and catching up with friends and family.

Ian Hubbard BCA CA

Ian retired in December 2021 to allow him more time with his family, his classic motorcycle and to travel with his wife Lesley.

He has thoroughly enjoyed the relationships he built with his clients over the years and thanks them for the trust and confidence they placed in him.

Ian will continue to maintain a keen interest in the development of the practice.

Christine Drew

Christine has worked in corporates and SME's accounting since 1978. She has wide experience in the practical aspects of business accounting support functions, especially dealing with the pressures of compliance, taxation, payroll, debtors and creditors.

She is skilled in a range of generic and proprietary accounting systems, with expertise in MYOB products. Christine assists clients' accounts processing teams either online or through telephone support.



Christine enjoys sailing, long walks, reading and gardening and spending time with her husband Peter.

Janine Clements

Janine has an Honours degree in Accounting and was a Chartered Accountant, specialising in auditing, in South Africa, before moving to Bermuda as a Group Manager for a funds management company.

Accordingly, she assists Jane with complex calculations for clients with overseas income.

Her main area of activity is in the general accounting role producing year end reports for our clients.



Janine is married with 2 young children and enjoys reading, walking, travelling and spending time with her family.
